On Jan 2nd 2018 we opened at our beautiful new, larger facility located at
3510 Concord Road, Aston PA 19014 ("5 Points in Aston")
In a nutshell, we are looking for someone 25-30hrs/week a week to start who is quite unique in the fact that this position requires someone who is highly self motivated and is looking to grow with us. As the business grows, addt'l hours will be available.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
Dependability is an absolute MUST: Being a small business (currently) means that when an employee is absent, it causes major disruptions in day-to-day operations. While we understand that emergencies and illnesses do occasionally occur, we also realize that the "right person" for this position will make every effort possible to fulfill their responsibilities, day in and day out.
Highly self-motivated: As outlined below, a potentially large part of your compensation is contingent on the growth of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE: (but not limited to):
Professionally handle all phases of in-store and on-line customer service including proficiency in basic computer skills.
Eagerness to acquire product knowledge
Picking up new merchandise from our builders in Lancaster Co and making deliveries to our customers throughout the Tri-state area (and sometimes a bit beyond) This responsibility requires the ability to safely drive a U-Haul box truck and cargo van on a regular basis.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid, clean Drivers license required
Background Check and Drug Testing required
"No Compete" Agreement
COMPENSATION:
Base wage of $13.00 an hour
Store wide sales based bonuses: Much time, effort and resources have been spent in building "TimberHomeFurnishings.com" to the point it is at presently and this position demands someone who wants to be an integral part of continuing this growth. In return, we are only too happy to reward you and together we will develop a growth oriented bonus program.
It is our intention that a significant portion of your compensation will be based on the growth of the business and are pleased to discuss how we can help you meet your financial needs as you help us.
Assistance with Health Insurance benefits negotiable
Sunday, Monday and every other Saturday off
No late nights (store will currently be OPEN until 10:00 - 7:00 PM)
