When choosing which wood
is right for your furniture,
it really comes down to personal preference.
BROWN MAPLE
Brown Maple has
natural variations in wood color.
Light stain colors will show the variations, darker stain colors help to even out those
Brown Maple is very smooth AND IS THEREFORE RECOMMENDED FOR PAINTED SURFACES
RED OAK
Red Oak is among the most popular hardwoods used to make furniture and has an enduring reputation for
strength and beauty.
Red Oak's open wood grain easily mixes with the other furnishings in your home.
CHERRY
Cherry is strong and built to last. A lot of the best antique wooden furniture is made of cherry and it looks as good today as it did 100 years ago.
Cherry wood has a warm red hue. Cherry wood complements most woods, working well with other furniture pieces and décor in your home. Cherry will darken with age to richer reds and browns. One of the most expensive native woods, it also tends to show use a little more than other hardwoods.
QUARTER SAWN WHITE OAK
Quarter sawn wood has a straight grain pattern
that lends itself to design. Flecking is also present in white oak.
